Summary of Services Provided
In the last 15 years OPITO’s Petroleum Open Learning ( POL) has provided modules for training in the oil and gas industry worldwide. Over 900 candidates have gained City and guilds qualifications in Oil and Gas Well Technology and Petroleum Processing Technology with hundreds of others learning and referencing individual modules. The flexible nature of the Petroleum Open Learning courses means that candidates are able to tailor their learning around their work patterns, providing maximum benefit and cost efficiencies for their companies and themselves. Companies can use relevant modules individually to help augment their own training and competency schemes. Dozens of blue chip companies such as Shell, BP, Marathon, Chevron, TAQA, BW Offshore, Wood Group, Maersk and SBM Group amongst others have benefited from POL‘s flexible learning modules.
